The Fort Duffield Park Day Volunteer Event and Wildflower Walk happens April 7, 2018. Park Day beginning at 10:00 a.m.; Wildflower Walk 12:30 PM.  Meet at Main Parking Lot at the Pavilion, entrance to park off 31W at Salt River Drive, West Point, KY

Registration will begin at 9:30 AM at the pavilion in the main parking lot. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt from Civil War Trust. A lunch will be provided free of charge thanks to Friends of Fort Duffield, the historic site's support group of over 20 years. Volunteers will also learn about the history and significance of the site.

Needs range from minor repairs to general clean up of brush and debris.

Okolona Street Rods and Mike Linning's host an Open Car Cruise at Mike Linnig's on Cane Run Road, each Thursday evening beginning May 10 thru May 24 from 4p-6p.  Great food, prizes and live music from Paul Penney, Mike Boughey, Sounds of Sirens and Bonded.  All car clubs welcome.  Benefit the Crusade for Children.

Paisley is a beautiful 4 year old girl from Hodgenville, KY. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Kidney Cancer and is receiving chemotherapy treatments at Norton’s Children’s Hospital.  All money raised will be used to offset the family’s expenses.  Everybody is welcome! No bike, not a problem, come out and support this great cause.   Donation - $20 Per Bike
